Your year as a Starfish will include but is not limited to:
• Three live retreats, which will bring the 10 Starfish Program participants together for masterminding, learning, and sharing with other business women at the highest echelon from throughout the country.
• A year of: Teleclasses, Mastermind groups and one-on-one coaching by two certified and masterful coaches, one of which is Lorin Beller Blake who only coaches Starfish as of 2010.
• The development of an online press kit, positioning each Starfish participant as a “thought leader” in the world. (This will include two videos: one will position you as an expert, the second will tell “your unique and inspiring story.”)
And last but not least
• The amazing opportunity to coach/mentor a women business owner in a Third World country. In our conversations with other successful women business owners, a need has been expressed over and over: “We want to give back.” While they have been giving money all along the way, they want to pass on their legacy, their thinking and their ability to create success. They have a desire to have their knowledge and experience have an impact on the world in a way they truly can see, and in a way that has direct impact on the success of women globally.
We also know that when we coach and mentor others while having a coach ourselves, we truly take our learning to a higher, more conscious level than ever before. We walk our talk, we are more responsible, and we feel the deep desire to do what we say and say what we do. This is where true personal growth magically unfolds.
Lorin explains, “My vision for the Starfish Program is an outgrowth of the Big Fish yearlong business development program I developed and have been offering since 2004. In speaking to groups throughout the country and talking with women business owners at all levels of success, I began to sense there were unmet needs being expressed by an elite group of businesswomen that could be filled by a program like Starfish. These women are already “Big Fish” in many ways, whether they have gone through the program or not. They are high achievers, and are “stars” in their areas of expertise, but, without exception, they have dreams of shining even brighter, not to gain more material success, but to make a difference in the lives of others, and to impact the world.”
Starfish women are those who recall the story of the girl throwing starfish after starfish back into the sea after being washed ashore. When someone asked why, as there were so many starfish on the beach, what difference could it make? And the girl replied, as she threw yet another starfish back into the sea, “It made a difference to that one…” Starfish women want to make a difference! Is this a program you want to be a part of?
